Planespotting ? What is that ? The term "spotter" appeared during World War II. At that time, a spotter was someone who had to watch the sky and to give the air raid warning when German bombers were in approach... Nowadays, plane spotting consists in watching or taking pictures of flying objects such as aircraft, helicopters, airships and balloons or just listing their regs. A plane spotter is always looking for the "rare bird" and is often visiting airports around the world...
